¡QUIJÓTERES! (2014)
Produced by Grand Valley State University’s Modern Languages and Literatures Department, the project used original puppets and student actors (Caleb Duckworth, Katie Munoz, Russell Cerda, and Lindsay Viviano) to perform a bilingual puppet-show adaptation of the classic adventures of Don Quijote by Miguel de Cervantes. The company gave performances and workshops for schools in the Grand Rapids community, at Buena Vista University (Storm Lake, IA), Meredith College (Raleigh, NC) Southern Indiana University (Evansville, IN), and Michigan State University (Lansing, MI). Written, directed, and designed by Jason Yancey. (2013-14)
